Children around the world are being exploited through sex trafficking every day.

Marici works on the front lines to identify trafficking networks, locate children, support rescue operations, pursue those responsible, and help survivors begin a path toward healing.

Every child deserves freedom, safety, dignity, and the chance to dream. For far too many children, those things have been stolen.

Your donation gives Marici the resources to locate children, support rescue operations, and help survivors begin again.

Donations are made directly to Marici through its secure giving platform. Matt and Jarred do not collect, receive, or handle donated funds.

Marici (EIN 82-1536804) is a U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, tax-exempt since September 2017, and eligible donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

THE 100 CHALLENGE

One Extraordinary Day. One Life-Changing Goal.

On February 6, 2027, in Huntsville, Texas, Matt and Jarred will each:

  • Lift 100k pounds
  • Run 100 miles
  • Pursue an individual fundraising goal of $100k

100k pounds. 100 miles. $100k. The same number, three times over — the 100 Challenge.

They will complete the lifting and running within one 24-hour period.

Together, their fundraising goal is $200k — enough to save 400 children from sex trafficking.

This is not about athletic recognition.

It is about choosing an extreme challenge that is difficult enough to capture attention, bring people together, and turn that attention into meaningful action.

Matt and Jarred will provide the effort. The community will provide the support. Marici will put those resources to work saving children.

A NOTE FROM MATT AND JARRED

Why We Are Doing This

We are two dads from Crested Butte, Colorado. Neither of us is a professional athlete. We chose a challenge difficult enough to make people stop, pay attention, and ask why. The answer is simple: children are being trafficked, and organizations like Marici need resources to reach them. What we experience for 24 hours will be voluntary and temporary. We would never compare it to what these children endure. We are simply using what we have — our bodies, our voices, and our community — to support the people working every day to locate children, bring them to safety, and help them begin again. If giving everything we have for 24 hours can help raise $200k and save 400 children, we are ready to do it. Thank you for standing with us.
