Hello Friends! I’m proud to support the Minnesota Alliance for Volunteer Advancement ("MAVA") and their mission of deepening community impact through the power of volunteerism. MAVA works with social service organizations, youth mentoring and empowerment programs, schools, local governments and other community institutions to ensure that the time, skills and expertise of the community (i.e. volunteers) can be fully leveraged to make a positive difference in all of our lives. A few examples of MAVA's work in 2024: 

• Provided capacity-building training and resources to 503 organizations
• Supported 311 organizations in increasing their organizational capacity
• Helped recruit 4,083 volunteers to support nonprofits and civic organizations

I've been a Board Member with the organization for the last 4 years and am wrapping up my term as Treasurer at the end of the year. It would mean the world to me to meet my fundraising goal as a final gift to the organization. Every donation—big or small—helps me reach my fundraising goal and directly impacts this important cause.
