It’s no longer about just the “hidden” faces of hunger!

Since the start of the pandemic, the soaring throngs facing food insecurity aren’t just people who struggled before. Many now in need of help from the food bank’s partner pantries used to volunteer and donate there themselves; but now they’re in line. Families driving through our mobile distributions aren’t just those affected by generational poverty; they’re neighbors you and I live near, work with, and pass by at the grocery store and gas station.

The face of hunger is changing. The rate of hunger is growing. But with your help, the Food Bank of Northwest Indiana remains fiercely committed to easing this crisis, to ensuring that no child or adult in our Region goes without the nourishment they need — today, tomorrow, or ever.
What neither of us can accomplish alone I truly believe we can do together.
