The Metro Detroit Pulmonary Fibrosis Walk supports the PFF's efforts to accelerate research, empower the community, and transform care so that everyone with pulmonary fibrosis can live a better life. A true Detroit-focused walk & the second Detroit-area community-based walk for Pulmonary Fibrosis. You never know what you may see or experience on those hallowed grounds.
The walk will include a brief opening ceremony, information about fibrosis, and a walk at the Corner Ballpark. The Walk supports efforts to accelerate research, empower the community, and transform care so that those affected can live a better life, patients and their families. As a reminder, research on IPF (Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis) is crucial for all the following reasons:
