What can we find you doing when you're not whipping up a dish for Men Who Cook?

You can find me on the golf course when the weather permits. My sports teams are the Wake Forest Demon Deacons and the Boston Red Sox. Mowing my yard is my stress relief.

Why is it important to you to give back (to the SECU Family House)?

Life experiences help you realize that other people have needs during stressful time. The SECU Family House provides a home away from home for individuals who need a peaceful place as they are caring for a loved one.

What was the first thing you remember cooking?

Fried chicken.

I attended the Boston Red Sox fantasy camp.

What can we find you doing when you're not whipping up a dish for Men Who Cook?

Most of the time, I am hanging out with my wife and kids and taking care of our small farm.

Why is it important to you to give back (to the SECU Family House)?

I didn't know about the SECU Family House until I signed up for the Allegacy team last year. Since then I know of a couple of people, friends of friends, who have stayed there. I believe it is a truly needed service in every city and town, and I am glad I get to help support it.

What was the first thing you remember cooking?

I don't remember the specifics, but it was most likely something simple while camping in Boy Scouts. I learned the basics of cooking while camping and learned to enjoy it more throughout adulthood.

My wife and I are slowly turning our property into a small farm and revitalizing our 100-year-old house.
