What can we find you doing when you're not whipping up a dish for Men Who Cook?
A lot of board games! My wife and I have a collection of about 100 games. We’re also increasingly trying to get outside and go camping to the many nearby State and National Parks.
Why is it important to you to give back (to the SECU Family House)?
I appreciate the community that the SECU Family House offers for families experiencing a trying time in the area. I am happy to help how I can to their cause with the best of my cooking abilities!
What was the first thing you remember cooking?
My dad was my biggest inspiration for getting into cooking. When I was in 5th grade my dad demonstrated how he whipped eggs upwards with a loose grip on a fork in a large flat bowl to incorporate air into them for scrambled eggs. It’s a memory I hold dearly when I think of him and a lesson I’ve implemented since then.

I currently have three citizenships: US, Canada, and Peru.

I'm either fishing or playing board games.
Why is it important to you to give back (to the SECU Family House)?
I think it's the duty if all of us to help each other. How else will we as a society continue.
What was the first thing you remember cooking?
Jelly cream cheese rolls directly inspired by an episode of The Great British bake off.
Name a fun fact people may not know about you.
I learned to ride unicycle in elementary school and I ride it once a year to make sure I'm capable of doing it.
