The Kalyani School of Music has long believed that Carnatic music is not only an art form but also a means of healing. Over the years, the school has fundraised through Carnatic concerts for animal welfare initiatives and truly meaningful causes such as Sanjeevani, a fundraiser for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Each event has reflected the same guiding principle: that Carnatic music can serve society powerfully. Through Swara Raaga Tharangini (Waves of Music), the school continues its commitment to using Carnatic music as a bridge between devotion and action, channeling melody into meaningful impact and extending compassion wherever it is needed most.
