Hi, I’m Gary!

I’m a 23-year-old Welsh pony, and I’ve been told I’m the sweetest boy ever. Big people, little people, brand-new riders, experienced riders—I love them all, and I’m always happy to stand quietly while anyone takes the time to groom me, cuddle me, or just enjoy being around me.

I work with riders from Parent & Me through advanced lessons, but my heart really shines with beginners. I love helping people feel safe, confident, and proud of themselves as they learn the basics of riding and horse care. If it’s your first time in the barn, I’m usually your guy.

I was bred to be a show pony, so yes—I am very fancy. But these days, I much prefer the quieter life of a school horse. Teaching, taking care of my riders, and being a steady, lovable partner is what makes me happiest.
