Hi, I’m Roger!

I’m a 13-year-old bay Oldenburg with a classic warmblood gelding personality—an enormous puppy dog at heart. I like to pretend I’m not extremely fancy, mostly because I’m never in a hurry. Calm, steady, and thoughtful is more my style.

I work with riders in intermediate and advanced flat and jumping lessons, where I’m known as a fantastic teacher of feel. I help riders learn balance, timing, and connection in a way that’s quiet and confidence-building.

Before becoming a lesson horse, I had a successful career as a show hunter. These days, I put all that experience to good use, helping riders develop the subtle skills that really matter. I may take my time, but that’s because I want everything to feel just right.
