My mom was a part of the Marian House program prior to her passing in 2012. Along with my brothers and a host of family members and friends, we participate in the race annually in memory of my mom. Being a motherless daughter managing team Pamdukes for the Marian House Race to Embrace Independence 5K Run and Walk for the 7th year has been rather rewarding! Marian House provides various resources for homeless women and their children such as housing, food, clothing, education, life skills, employment training, counseling services, etc. Although the race has gone virtual this year, we are still coming with the same ENTHUSIASM!
