When I first began as an intern at Marian House four years ago, I never could have imagined that this place and the people in it would come to mean so much to me. What happens here at Marian House is special - we are more than just a roof over someone's head. We provide safe, sober, and loving community that comes alongside women at their greatest time of need to help them work through some of the most difficult challenges they have faced and will face. And while the virus may have stopped and closed many doors, we just didn't have that option. Because of the work we do, we cannot close our doors, so we continued to house and serve the women and children in our care, most of whom are the most vulnerable during this time of instability.
