As members of the McKenzie Foundation Community Relations Committee, we spend a lot of time helping people understand why local healthcare matters.

The reason is simple: having strong healthcare close to home affects all of us. It means quicker access to care, less travel when you’re sick or injured, support for families during difficult moments, and a stronger community overall.

McKenzie’s new hospital is already taking shape, but philanthropy helps create greater capacity for the technology, equipment, services, and opportunities that will strengthen local care for years to come.
