Friends - 

You have reached Team Bierstadt - by now you know a bit about what we are up to... racing (in a team time trial format), raising (through peer to peer fundraising), and reveling (a party at the end) with Mile High 360 to support its young members, all of whom are on their way to college. Each is blazing a new trail to and through a postsecondary education, the first in their family to do so. 

We are a team of amazing men and women, some of whom are past our prime (Eric and maybe Mark). The other three are just hitting their stride. Mark and Eric are going to need to do a lot of fundraising to carry their weight, no pun intended. 

Our team goal is $3,750, which will reduce our collective team time trial time by 3,750 seconds, or 62.5 minutes. I'll be honest, we can't win with that. I wish we could but I happen to have some insider knowledge that one of the other teams has an olympic cyclist from the 2012 London games. Also, I am a bit out of shape. I would cry "foul" but I won't do that. Instead, we will have to outraise their team, by a lot.
