Mile High 360 (MH360) is a Denver-based nonprofit working with first-generation college-bound students and their families from two of Denver’s Title I schools, Bryant Webster and CEC. Students join in 6th grade and participate in essential out-of-school-time activities for 14 consecutive years, receiving year-round support in four interconnected areas: Academics, Health & Wellness, Life Skills, and Mentoring, alongside Two-Generation work with families. With 100% of students matriculating on time and 87% entering postsecondary institutions like CSU, CU, MSU, Stanford, and Cornell, Mile High 360 helps students blaze new trails into higher education while covering the costs of postsecondary degrees.
The R3T3 (Race/Raise/Revel Team Time Trial) fundraiser is a unique way to support this mission, specifically focusing on MH360’s Health & Wellness programming. It includes nutrition and cooking classes, cycling and cross-training, mental health sessions, access to counseling, daily meals, and human development classes. These offerings help students build the physical, emotional, and mental resilience needed to succeed in school and life.
The R3T3 isn’t just about racing bikes; it’s a new spin on the traditional team time trial. While the 35-mile course remains locked in, each team of five riders can complete the course as many times as they want. You can either ride as individuals, a group of five, or in small groups; just as long as you each rider submits their fastest time using STRAVA to the MH360 Team by August 15th.
Each rider's has to raise $750. $250 of that is the registration fee, leaving you to raise $500. Here's the kicker though:
For every dollar raised, the rider gets to shave off one second off their time. For example, when a team meets their $3,750 goal (5 team members x $750 each), they subtract 3,750 secs. / 62.5 mins. from their total time. The more you raise, the more time you can subtract,and the closer you are to winning! It’s truly a chance for some friendly competition and for the community to rally together.

Once the racing is completed, all the times have been calculated and adjusted according to how much teams raised, we will all convene and revel on August 20th at one of Frank Bonanno's amazing restaurants. We will collectively celebrate our efforts and toast to the winners over dinner.
