Friends and Family -
We are racing in the R3 Team Time Trial to raise money for Mile High 360 (MH360), a Denver nonprofit I believe in deeply — and every $10 you give literally makes me faster. More on that in a second.
Why Mile High 360?
MH360 works with first-generation college-bound students and their families. Getting to and through college takes years of preparation and resources that most first-gen college families rarely have access to. MH360 closes that gap: students join in 6th grade and have access to 14 consecutive years of year-round support across four interconnected areas — Academics, Health & Wellness, Life Skills, and Mentoring — alongside two-generation work with their families. MH360 even covers the cost of students' postsecondary degrees, if they attend schools in Colorado.
The results speak for themselves:
- 100% of students matriculate to the next grade level on time
- 87% of postsecondary students are enrolled in postsecondary institutions — including CSU, MSU Denver, CU, Western, CCD, Stanford, and Cornell
- 99% of students are Hispanic, and 99% qualify for Free/Reduced Lunch
Where your donation goes
Your gift funds MH360's Health & Wellness program: daily meals, nutrition and cooking classes, cycling and cross-training, mental health sessions and access to counseling, and human development classes — all run by two full-time Health & Wellness Coordinators.
How you make me faster
The R3 Team Time Trial has a twist: I can race the course as many times as I want and submit my fastest time — and every $10 raised subtracts 1 second from my time - each donor is also worth 1 second off our time. Your donation doesn't just fund the program; it moves me up the leaderboard - nothing like a little friendly competition! Race day is coming fast, so every dollar (and second) counts now.
The fine print: You'll receive a donation receipt by email, and you won't be added to any mailing list unless you choose to opt in.
Join us — let's make this ride count!
Thanks.
