About FAITH Social Services and their Youth Program

The Shaping Young Minds Youth Program exists to provide a material, emotional and psychological support network for orphan,immigrant and low-income disenfranchised youth.  We aim to build character, self-esteem and broaden perspectives through targeted activities.

Our goal is to provide youth with tools to break the cycle of poverty, pave a successful future and be good citizens through age appropriate Rising Stars and Bright Stars branches.

Each year, FAITH Social Services celebrates Eid Ul Fitr by collecting gifts for children and youth in the Shaping Young Minds Youth Program.

It is important to remember others when enjoying blessings such as a large Eid feast, and receiving gifts in celebrating Ramadan. The Rising Stars and Bright Stars create a wish list of EID gifts and we share this list for donors to buy the items or collect funds for us to buy the items. This list includes games, books and even clothes!

Bilal, Yusuf, and Dawud are joining their friends in partnering with Sharing Humanity and FAITH Social Services to raise money for FAITH's annual Eid-ul-Fitr Toy and necessities drive benefiting orphaned and low-income youth in the area. On June 07th they will meet at a track and run/walk a mile with their friends! Please sponsor them and help them raise their fundraising goal!

About Sharing Humanity

Sharing Humanity is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to helping the disadvantaged all across the world.  Past projects have included building schools, establishing education programs, providing health clinics, and organizing veterinary clinics across India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Senegal.
