Hi everyone! My name is Mira and I am a junior at Milton High School. I am also a section leader in Milton Chorus' Chorale and a co-leader of an a cappella group, the Milton Misses!

Choir has been one of the activities that has really taken a hit during this pandemic. Usually at this time of the year, we would be making banners with our sections, holding auditions for our a cappella groups, diving into the music for our fall concert, and fundraising for the year! However, virtual choir expenses are by no means minimal. So, the money that would usually go towards setting up parties, concerts, buying music and paying accompanists now have to go to fees for setting up the virtual performances, social distancing methods that are costly (but necessary), and possible outdoor structures for singing.

Choir has given me the opportunity to build friendships, become more confident, and express myself. It would mean the world to me if you could donate what you can to our department, whether you want to purchase one of our coupon cards (a price of $20 for the value of $400; it can be used at local restaurants and businesses or anywhere in the nation for a percent back) or donate however much you would like to.
