As many of you know our son Kian was in the NICU for two months. Even though he was born full term he needed lots of help. He had trouble keeping his temperature up and his sugars were low. After we got his temp under control he had some breathing trouble. He was on oxygen for about a month going up and down on the settings. Once he could breath good it was time to work on his feedings. We worked on feedings for a month and were finally discharged to a specialty rehab to continue to work on feeds for another month. We ended up getting Kian a G-Tube for feedings and then finally went home! While we were in the NICU this company helped us out so much. From a bag full or goodies (diary, swaddle, milestone cards, ect.) to a full Thanksgiving Dinner for the holiday since we celebrated at the hospital.
