An exciting, BRIGHT, new gallery is coming to Mid-Michigan Children’s Museum: Round Island Lighthouse! The “real” lighthouse sits across the shipping channel from Mackinac Island in Hiawatha National Forest.
Perhaps you’ve seen it?
The new gallery will teach maritime-based activities and will be a community-built project. Bringing new learning opportunities, a glimpse of lighthouse life, and a treasured Michigan icon to our GLBR community! The gallery is part of the museum’s mission to provide an exciting and safe hands-on, “play and learn” environment that engages and motivates children to use their curiosity and creativity to learn about the wonders of our world.
