I’m proud to serve on the Associate Board of Minds Matter Colorado (MMCO), an organization that’s changing the trajectory of students’ lives through mentoring, guidance, and access to college.

In Colorado, only 1 in 4 students will go on to a four-year college. For students from low-income backgrounds, that number drops even further: only 45% of high school graduates enroll in college, compared to 72% of their higher-income peers.

Minds Matter Colorado is working to change that story. MMCO connects high-achieving, motivated students from low-income families with dedicated mentors and college advisors who help them navigate the path to college success. Through a three-year program, students receive one-on-one mentorship, academic enrichment, and support through every step of the college application process.

The results speak for themselves:
100% of Minds Matter Colorado graduates are accepted to four-year colleges with scholarships.
