I’m thrilled to be participating in MMCO End of Year Campaign 2025, a fundraiser supporting Minds Matter Colorado, Inc.! I’ve volunteered with MMCO in various capacities for the past 5 years, supporting and working with two generations of mentees as they grow, learn, and strive to achieve their goals of higher education.

During this 2025-26 program, MMCO is providing college access programming to 107 high-performing students from low income backgrounds in a program that includes: 

• Weekly mentoring with mentors from a variety of backgrounds 
• College application support (including Common App, essay reviews, scholarship apps)
• Two summer programs (one in sophomore year, one in junior year)
• Standardized test prep
• Personal development

This program works. 100% of students who go through the program are accepted into and attend college. Increased funding can help us not only reach more students but also deepen program offerings with initiatives such as scholarships, out of state college visits, increased summer program budgets, and enhanced materials and learnings.
