I joined Virginia Mentoring Partnership 7 years ago because I believe in our mission to ensure that every child in Virginia who needs a mentor has one.  A caring, committed adult in a childs' life is often what it takes to stay in school, avoid crime and teenage pregnacy, cope with life's challenges, and find their personal path to success. The work of a mentor is rewarding, but not easy. VMP mentors mentors... we provide the training and on-going support needed to help mentors prepare for and navigate their role to support lasting, positive relationships that change lives forever.

I was so proud to serve as the Chair of the Board for 3 years, and to continue to support VMP's work as a Board Member.  I am passionate about the work we do.  Your gift makes that work possible.  .
