Friends and Family -
As many of you know, I served on the board of directors for MileHigh360, a comprehensive wrap-around services program for studnets from high-poverty communities. MilleHigh360's mission is to ensure that socioeconomic status does not limit a child's future. While my tenure as a board member expired last year, I remain as committed as ever in my support of the students and the organizational mission.
Joining MileHigh360 is a serious committment - membership is for up to 13 consecutive years (6th grade through age 24) and students participate year-round (after school, weekends, and summer time) in formal and informal activies centered around three core areas: Academics, Health and Wellness, and Life Skills. Everyone works hard because learning to go to college takes time, effort, grit, resources, more time, and "a village."
I am riding in the Make Mile Matter 360 Cycling Series to support MH360's students; it is an investment in a life. Last year we raised just over $100,000. That investment yielded: 1. 100% grade level matriculation across all students; 2. 100% of the class of 2018 is attending a four-year post-secondary institution and those students secured over $200,000 in scholarship funding; and 100% of the class of 2019 has been accepted to a post-secondary institution of his or her choice.
This year we are aiming to raise $110,000 and I, with your help, want to raise as much as possible. Every dollar you give is an investment in a life that will pay dividends for generations to come.
Please consider investing in the lives of MH360's students.
Thanks,
Vince
