Minnesota Hope & Hearts Run/ Memorial Walk 2015

Thank you so much for taking the time to read our story of Our Angel Son Blake.
Sarah was 38 weeks along when Blakey was called home to the Lord.
Sarah went to her OB-GYN appt. on Tuesday and everything was great and heartbeat was normal. Wednesday night he was kicking like crazy almost felt like jerking but she thought it was normal. She went to work the following morning and he didn’t move all day "everyone said it was normal he was just getting ready for delivery" (being her first she believed them). They decided to go to the hospital and make sure everything was okay. When they arrived they did tests and to our disbelief there was no heartbeat. She was then admitted to be induced for delivery. On April 18, 2014 at 10:41am our son Blake was born at 8lbs .08oz 21in and unbelievably perfect except at the base of the umbilical cord was twisted so tight like a rubber band and there was the underlying answer to all our questions. We were devastated being so close and everything was ready for baby and now we had to prepare for our sons funeral. This was extremely hard but then we found the Missing Grace Foundation and that was a huge blessing. We appreciate everything they do for people going through the loss of their child.
