My son, Zac, and I will be running this 5K in memory of Theo and to support Missing GRACE, which provides support to families that have experienced the loss of a child through stillbirth.
Zac and Theo had due dates 3 weeks apart. As second cousins and being so close in age, they would have been buddies for sure. We hope that through participating in this 5K we can encourage people to donate towards the cause - raising awareness to stillbirth, it's prevention, and providing support to families that have experienced this loss, such as my cousin, Tom, & his wife, Shawn. And as we run, we will be thinking of Zac's angel buddy, Theo.
