September 13, 2017 I went in for a monthly OB appointment. I was 18 weeks pregnant. The doctor was having a hard time finding the babies heartbeat, so she sent me to have an ultrasound. My world came crumbling when I was told she had no heartbeat. I was induced that evening and delivered Hazel Sue Cardelli sleeping. 

Thanksgiving day 2017 I found out I was pregnant again. My progesterone was low, so I was receiving 2 shots of progesterone 2 days a week. On January 31 I started bleeding. Brandon took me to the ER, where we expected the worst. To my surprise baby was active and fine. There was no sign of where the blood was coming from. I was told it was bleeding unrelated to pregnancy. On Feburary 22 I bled again, a lot. I had another ultrasound, and was diagnosed with a subchorrionic hemorrhage. From February 22 to March 18 I bled gushes of blood on and off. I had cramping and was very uncomfortable. 

March 17 I couldn't get comfortable. I slept on the couch but couldn't fall asleep. I had so much cramping. I woke Brandon up at 4am and told him I needed to go to the hospital. 

After a very long, confusing, and devastating morning I delivered Lucas John Cardelli. Although he had a heartbeat everytime they checked in the hospital, he was born sleeping.
