We want to honor Mom's legacy of time well spent with family and friends, attending live music, and perhaps enjoying a cold beer or glass of wine.
Some of you may remember the Shadewald Room at the Eagle's from Mom's retirement party in 2019. Instead of moping about her diagnosis, she decided to be proactive and surround herself with people she loved as a covert celebration of her life, doing so while she still felt energetic and was responding well to treatment. We continue to draw inspiration from the way she lived her last few years with vitality, joie de vivre, and an inexahaustible amount of warmth and love.
This year's lineup includes family friends who she was great fans of including: Sweet Rhubarb and Becky Kapell, as well as her sons Will & Ted Olsen whose musical journeys and live shows she was a gigantic supporter of (as well as being a volunteer internet PR guru)
We are happy to co-sponsor this event with the Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance-a group that she was very active in- and a place where she found community, solace, and purpose.
Hope to see you on the 29th in the Twin Cities, but if you are unable to make it we have created this page as an easy way to donate in her honor.
On the day of we will taking cash and checks, as well as having a "QR code" that is scannable with a smartphone (this page will still be up as well).
