I’m excited to participate in the walk at Elkhorn Slough Reserve to raise funds for CASA of Santa Cruz County. These funds assist our efforts to assign an Advocate for every youth in foster care that needs a supportive voice in the Court system. This is important to me because I have learned that youth need significant adults in their lives that can support their growth and promote positive experiences during their childhood and early years of adulthood.
On Saturday May 4th, from 10:00 to 12:30, I will walk through this peaceful part of our local nature reserve. You’re welcome to join us. I’m asking my friends and family to sponsor me to reach my fundraising goal.
