mpowered is a non-profit organization equipping and empowering people to transform their financial futures. We provide financial coaching, financial education, and debt management programs. We are client-led in our approach, basing our sessions on the specific goals of each client. We provide our services in a judgment-free space that builds confidence for our participants.
In 2017 mpowered helped our community in many ways to reduce debt, increase savings, improve credit scores, reduce financial stress, build financial confidence, and secure safe and affordable banking products.
- Provided nearly 3,000 individual coaching sessions
- Served more than 1,600 clients through Financial Coaching
- Presented 127 Financial Education classes to 1,298 participants
- Helped 167 clients pay down aprox. $800k in debt through the Debt Management Program
During Move for Change I pledge to continue my 2018 goals of incorporating more vegetables into my weekly diet as well as go to the gym at least four times a week. We know that physical activity and health help to reduce financial stress and financial health reduces negative health symptoms and improve overall physical health.
