Mr. & Miss CR is a beloved Columbia River High School tradition where senior teams collaborate and compete to raise money for a local nonprofit. The season culminates in a student-led variety show on March 21, where the top fundraising team is crowned Mr. & Miss CR. 

This year’s fundraising supports Friends of the Children – SW Washington, a nonprofit breaking cycles of generational poverty through long-term, professional mentorship. Each child receives one dedicated mentor from kindergarten through graduation—12+ years of consistent support.

Thanks to a generous donor, every dollar donated will be matched, doubling the impact of every gift. 

Beyond raising funds, contestants visit the Friends’ Clubhouse and spend meaningful time with the youth, creating lasting connections and positive impact. 

Your support fuels both a vital community organization and the development of student leaders learning service, philanthropy, and compassion. It’s for the kids! 

Key Info + Dates:

• The deadline for donations to count towards participating teams is Friday, March 20, 2026. Donations made after this date will count towards group total.
• 100% of donations raised will go to Friends of the Children - SW Washington AND will be matched dollar-for-dollar, thanks to a generous donor. All donations are 100% tax deductible and donors will receive a tax receipt.
