Make a Lasting Impact
As a 63 year old South African Citizen, I found myself inspired by Mercy Ships' core values which I discovered in social media and gave my heart 10,000 beats. This lead me to end up volunteering as an administrator for our Crew Clinic.
What impacts me the most about serving is that we all get the chance to experience the way Jesus served his people. He was the definition of humility and restoring dignity in others. This is the model that I try to pursue towards our crew: being a shoulder to lean on.
I trust whoever comes across this page will read it with an open heart as to God's word: "I will bless you so that you can be a blesser."
