Hi friends,
I’m Simone, and I’m stepping into a bold new chapter—joining Mercy Ships for a two-year volunteer mission to bring life-saving/life-changing medical care and spiritual support to communities in need across Sierra Leone, West Africa.
Serving with Mercy Ships has been placed on my heart for the better part of 10 years, and now God has opened the door for this to manifest and come to fruition. I will be serving from October 2025 through November 2027.
For the next two years, I’ll be living and volunteering full-time on board as Assistant Steward, supporting the daily hospitality operations that keep the crew nourished, cared for, and mission-ready.
