Tell Your Story
Winston is the newest addition to our family who we adopted from a rescue. He has loves his older brother Rollo and older sister Addie and his new cat siblings turbo and cinnamon. We were able to rescue Winston and give me the best home life a pup could wish for. Winston wants to do his best to try and help all the other shelter pets get the same happy ending he did!

About the Organization
The Champaign County Humane Society is an independent nonprofit organization dedicated to keeping companion animals healthy, housed, and looking for homes. Our shelter has been open to the Champaign County community since 1954, and we've helped thousands and thousands of animals find their forever home. Last year alone, about 1,700 pets found families through CCHS, thanks to donors like you.
As an independent nonprofit, our shelter, adoptions, and education programs rely on the generosity of this community, and the passion of supporters who fundraise on our behalf. We do not receive funding from local government entities, and we are not a branch of any national animal welfare nonprofits.
