The Jacksonville Humane Society’s Mutt March is BACK! Join us on Sunday, April 12, 2026, for a fun-filled day for both ends of the leash. Enjoy a walk with your pup on the University of North Florida’s prestigious track (dogs are not required to attend), then shop local vendors, participate in our silent auction and chance raffle, and enjoy music and activities for the whole family.

Mutt March is northeast Florida’s largest pet walk and festival with a fundraising goal of $100,000. All proceeds from this event benefit the more than 10,000 animals who come to the Jacksonville Humane Society every year.

• Date/Time: Sunday, April 12, 2026. 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
• Pricing: $30/individual registrant through March 22. Registration fee increases to $40 on March 23. Add a Mutt March T-shirt for $20!

Walk Details

How long is the walk? There are 2 options – a quarter-mile loop and a full-mile loop.

What is the walk terrain? Mutt March will take place on UNF's prestigious paved tracks. For folks walking the full-mile loop, there will be a short walk through a grassed area between the two tracks.

Location & Parking

Where is Mutt March? The University of North Florida Athletic Complex/Hodges Stadium. 1 South UNF Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32224

Where can I park? Free parking is available at UNF Lot 18 (across from Hodges Stadium)

Registration

When does registration close? Online registration closes at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, April 10.

Can I register at the event? Yes, you can register as an individual at the event for $40. Team registration is not available at the event.

I registered online. Do I have to check-in at the event? Yes! If you registered online, please go to the registration table at the event to check-in. Have your QR code ready for fast check-in! You will receive your Wag Bag and, if you ordered one, your T-shirt.

Can I pick up my Wag Bag and T-shirt early to skip the lines at registration? Yes! You can pick these items up from our administrative offices beginning Monday, April 6, through Thursday, April 9, between the hours of 12:00-5:00pm. Wag Bags are available on a first come, first served basis, one per registrant. Our office is located at 8464 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville FL 32216.

Where is registration at the event? Registration check-in will be located outside as you enter the Hodges Stadium complex area - you can't miss it!

Do I need to register my dog, myself, or both? Only humans need to register. Dogs and kids under 10 are free.

Ready to wow the crowd? This exciting contest is first come, first served -  sign up to participate at the event then step onstage with your pup to show off their best tricks!

9:30 a.m. - Pup Cup Eating Contest - Onstage

Get ready for a paw-sitively delicious showdown! This contest is first come, first served - sign up to participate at the event then come onstage with your hungry pup when it's time to compete.

10:30 a.m. - Walk Begins

12:00 p.m. - Silent Auction and Chance Auction Close

12:15 p.m. - Chance Auction Winner Announced - Onstage
