Artistic costs that directly affect my experience in MYS exceed $100,000 each year. This amount covers our rehearsal space and concert venues, music, instruments sectional coaches, and most importantly student scholarships, creating excellent orchestral education possible for all! Hello! My name is Ingrid and I play in the Symphony Orchestra of the Minnesota Youth Symphonies (MYS). I have played cello for 7 years. My favorite part of MYS rehearsals is getting to play challenging repertoire with an amazing group of musicians. MYS is important to me because without it I wouldn't have the same opportunity to grow and be challenged.
