We Need Your Support!
Dear Friends and Family -
It's that time of year again... and every year when I start my fundraising effort for Golf Fights Cancer, I’m reminded—sometimes in the hardest ways—just how relentless cancer is. It isn’t just a diagnosis that impacts one person; it ripples through entire families, changing routines, necessitating difficult conversations, and the altering the simple sense of what “normal” feels like. Seeing friends and loved ones navigate treatment, loss, and everything in between leaves a mark, and it makes me even more determined to help fight back against this awful disease in any way I can—and to stand with the families living with it.
This June, I will try to make a small difference by playing 100 holes in one day to raise funds for Golf Fights Cancer (GFC). I have been participating in this amazing event for years, and it is one of the most powerful and humbling things I’ve ever been a part of. It’s a long day—and that’s the point. Every hole is a reminder of the endurance cancer demands from patients and caregivers, and every dollar raised helps bring more support, more research, and more hope to the people who need it most.
As much as I hate asking for donations, fundraising is how this effort turns into real help—support for families in the thick of it, resources that ease the burden, and research that moves us closer to better treatments and, someday, a cure. I completely understand that everyone contributes to a lot of amazing charities, so please don’t feel any pressure if you can’t swing it (golf pun...get it?) this year. I truly appreciate your support in the past and don’t hold grudges, so I will welcome it again in the future!
ALSO – I know I share a lot of friends/family with the other people on my team, meaning you may have already donated. Please do not feel like you need to donate twice. All money raised by our team is going to the same great cause.
My goal is to raise $15,000 for GFC, and a donation of any amount will make a difference.

Thanks to events like the Golf Marathon, GFC has granted more than $17 MM to cancer-related charities and families since 2003. I am proud to be part of this effort and appreciate your support.
Thank you!
