This June, I will be playing 100 holes in Golf Fight Cancer's 2026 New England Golf Marathon, a unique fundraising event that combines a love of golf and the desire to give back. Golfers of all skill levels play 100 holes to support cancer-related organizations. My family is honored One mission is amongst the chosen beneficiaries.
Many of you know my story:
At 7 months old, I was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and given only a 50% chance to live. My parents spent 188 days in the hospital with me while I fought this horrible disease, later beating it in October of 2006.
Today, I am a sophomore at Babson College and an avid golfer. I cannot wait to play 100 holes for kids fighting cancer to show them they never fight alone. We are all in this together.
I love this event because 100% of every dollar I raise goes directly to the charity my mother started in my honor- One Mission.
