Dear Family & Friends,
On June 5th, I will be playing in my second Golf Fight’s Cancer Marathon, representing Team Dan.
Dan Warn was a great father to one of my best friends and my flag football coach for many years. He introduced me to the Vikings and was always one of the loudest—and most enthusiastic-- voices on the sidelines. His warm heart and infectious smile left a lasting impact on everyone lucky enough to know him.
In Mr. Warn’s honor, I will be tackling 100 holes of golf in one day with the help of some of my best friends and their older brothers, pushing ourselves in an effort to make some meaningful difference for those like Mr. Warn and the countless others impacted by this horrible disease.
Cancer has touched many people, but for our team, it’s personal. I’ve seen the toll cancer takes on families, which is why I’m returning to Golf Fights Cancer’s Golf Marathon to raise critical funds for cancer research and support.

I am super excited to be doing this marathon again! It was a great time last year and we, as a team, raised 75,000 dollars for glioblastoma research.
Your generous donation in Dan Warn’s memory will be added to The Warn Family Fund to advance glioblastoma research at The Center for Neuro-Oncology at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
Your support will fund the most promising therapeutic approaches to improve patient survival and quality of life. Specifically:
- Adaptive clinical trial design
- Increasing progress in immunotherapy
- Accelerating drug discovery
- Expanding targeted molecular therapy
