Dear Family and Friends, I’m excited to share that I’m participating in the Unite for Bleeding Disorders Walk—an event that raises awareness and critical funds for the New England Hemophilia Association (NEHA). Over the past 50 years, there has been significant change in the care of individuals with bleeding disorders, but we still have a long way to go! NEHA provides advocacy, support and education for hundreds of people within the bleeding disorders community. As a Pediatric Hematologist (now retired!), NEHA was an invaluable resource for my patients and their families, helping to connect them to a community who understands not only their medical needs but also their emotional and sometimes financial ones.  Here's how you can help: Donate: Contribute whatever you can.
