Nearly everyone has been touched by cancer, either through their personal experience or through someone they love. 

I’m participating in honour of my dad, the ones who continue to battle and the ones we have lost to Glioblastoma.

My dad was diagnosed with Glioblastoma in 2019. He went through a craniotomy in December 2019. Followed by 30 days of radiation and a full year of chemo. He goes for scans every 3 months and there has been no growth. Unfortunately this past November his scans started to show some growth so he went back on chemo. Chemo was not cutting it anymore and fast forward to May 2024 he went for his 2nd craniotomy. He is now recovering from that operation and starting chemo any day now. 

The Never Alone Cancer Foundation has been an incredible tool for my family. From personally delivering my dad a new warm blanket to my dad to helping get medical supplies to treating us to days away at Winnipeg Jets games. This foundation is incredible.
