You never think its to happen to you, to your family. 

It blows my mind that its been eight years since I lost my dad, Jerry Maslowsky, to an agressive form of cancer. Our family discovered his diagnosis just one week before he passed.

No person's experience with cancer is ever the same. Some require non-invasive treatments, some require long drawn out boughts of chemotherapy, raditation, surgery, etc. Some are sick for years, some know this disease will take their lives. In my dad's case, he passed quickly, and completely unexpectly. Some people recover, some relapse. Some survive, and some don't. 

What is consistent, is Never Alone Cancer Foundation's comittment to supporting both individuals and their families during their cancer journey. Whether it's navigating the healthcare system, providing financial support due to the potential inability to work, or simply offering a family a day away to spend at an event, and making lasting memories, they are there for you.
