New England Congenital Heart Walk

I want to express my heartfelt thanks for taking a minute to visit my fundraising page.

This year, I'm walking with extra purpose as 2026 marks my 10 year Anniversary from open heart surgery, saving my life from a Congenital Heart Defect. Also, this year The Children's Heart Foundation celebrates 30 incredible years of funding research that impacts lives and changes futures.

The Congenital Heart Walk is an event that carries immense significance for me— knowing CHF has been the leading force behind the treatments and surgical advances that help children with congenital heart defects thrive.

I am heading off to college this Fall feeling extremely grateful that The Children's Heart Foundation allowed me to reach this next chapter in life. Because of this, I strongly support their mission of advancing the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of congenital heart defects through groundbreaking research that improves survival rates, reduces complications, and helps other Heart Warriors and their families celebrate these types of milestones.

I invite you to join my team, The Scimitar Warriors, on Sunday May 9th from 8-11am at the Franklin Park Zoo for the 2026 New England Congenital Heart Walk. It is a one mile, family and dog friendly stroll to help raise money and awareness for CHD. You can also support my fundraising efforts by donating on our team page.
