Hello!

My name is Taylor and I currently live in Upstate New York. Infant loss is all too familiar with my family. In 2014 I experienced my first loss, my living daughters twin sister, Peyton. To say we were devistated is an understatement. At that time, we honestly didn't know that infant loss was a "thing" that it was so common unfortuneatly. We chose to keep our loss to ourselves mainly due to not knowing how to tell people, WHAT to tell people or not knowing how people would react. Shortly after Peyton, our daughters little brother Eli was born sleeping at 40wks. At this time, we decided we would do our own research on the term "stillbirth" or "miscarriage." We thought to ourselves, "we've never even heard of infant loss, why is this the second time this is happening?" Upon doing our research, we were mortified to find out how often this really takes place. Mainly for the reason, it is taking place to so many families around the world and yet noone is speaking about or educating others on the manner. Noone was acknowledging these Babies. I made it my vow at that time, that I would spend the rest of my life informing, educating, supporting, researching and spreading the word on the experiences, statistics and families that have been affected by child loss. In 2016, we experienced our third loss. Our twins to whom we refer "Twin A and Twin B." This run/walk and what the Star Legacy Foundation represents is more than just a get together. The money raised supports the foundation so they can continue to "increae awareness, support research, promote education and encourage advocacy and family support regarding stillbirth, pregancy loss and neonatal death."
