Our Heart Angel

Every step we take at the NYC Congenital Heart Walk is for children like Chloe.

Chloe is our heart warrior. She faced more in her short life than most people ever will, yet she met every challenge with courage, joy, and a spirit that could light up a room. She loved fiercely, laughed often, and embraced life with an enthusiasm that inspired everyone around her. Her heart defect was part of her story, but it never defined who she was.

Walking in the Heart Walk is both a tribute and a promise. It is a tribute to Chloe and the thousands of children and families whose lives have been touched by congenital heart disease. And it is a promise that we will continue to raise awareness, support research, and build a future where every child born with a heart defect has the opportunity to live a long, healthy life.

There is an ache that comes with missing Chloe every day, but there is also gratitude. Gratitude for the years, memories, and love she gave us. Gratitude for the community that continues to carry her story forward. And gratitude for every person who walks beside us, helping ensure that no family faces this journey alone.

Today, we walk with Chloe in our hearts. In every step, every mile, and every act of support, her spirit is with us. She showed us what strength looks like, what resilience feels like, and how deeply one beautiful life can touch the world.

This walk is for Chloe. Always for Chloe. Forever our heart warrior.
