I want to express my heartfelt thanks for taking a moment to visit my fundraising page.

My nephew Everett was born with a congenital heart disease called Aortic Stenosis. Everett's disease was found in utero. He was born at 36 weeks, received a lifesaving procedure in his first hours of life and an open heart surgery 12 days later. Everett is now doing well, but will most likely need more surgeries throughout his lifetime.  

Foundations like the CHF help to support families dealing with both the emotional and financial struggles that come with a child who has this disease.

This year, our family is walking with extra purpose as The Children's Heart Foundation celebrates 30 incredible years of funding research that saves lives and changes futures. My commitment to making a difference has led me to participate in the Congenital Heart Walk, an event that carries immense significance for me—especially knowing that for three decades, CHF has been the leading force behind the treatments and surgical advances that help children with congenital heart defects thrive.
