Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I am participating in the Congenital Heart Walk to support the mission of The Children's Heart Foundation: to advance the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of congenital heart defects by funding the most promising research.
August 23, 2021 was the day we found out Tony would be our little warrior. At my 20 week scan, we were told Tony's heart did not develop correctly and we were sent for further testing. Tony was diagnosed with Double Outlet Right Ventricle (DORV) with a Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD). He was given a second chance at life on June 1, 2022 and has been thriving! We are extremely humbled with all the support we received and continue receiving as we try to raise awareness to prevent and improve the lives of those living with Congenital Heart Defects! Although we are extremely blessed with Tony's second chance, we know many children aren't so lucky. This year we will be participating in the Congenital Heart Defect Walk to raise funds to save and improve the lives of those living with CHDs.
*Did you know every 15 minutes, a baby in this country is born with a congenital heart defect, making CHDs America's most common birth defect. The Congenital Heart Walk is dedicated to raising funds to support The Children's Heart Foundation's mission: to advance the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of CHDs by funding the most promising research.
Join us by supporting our team or joining us in our walk as we raise funds to help save and improve the lives of those living with Congenital Heart Defects- America's most common birth defect. TOGETHER we'll walk for one more heartbeat!
I hope that you will join us by walking with Tony's Tigers or by donating to our fundraising page.
THANK YOU!
