I am delighted to have been chosen to ride to support Neighborhood House!  As many of you know, Neighborhood House provides essential services to folks who are the most vulnerable in our community - vulnerable because of poverty and other social determinants.  Neighborhood House also serves as one of Methodist College's community partners, and has provided amazing support to our Social Work Students in their quest for learning.  I ride this ride to support the many programs of Neighborhood House, and I am hoping that my participating in RAGBRAI for Neighborhood House that you would take this opportunity to support their programs as well.  I know that by participating in the service of riding I can call on my friends, family and colleagues to support this fundraising bike ride in which proceeds will go back to the people who are most vulnerable.  I chose to ride because that is something I can do, with my time and energy, and I know not everyone has the same opportunities as I have had.  My fundraising goal is $3000, and I hope that you can support me in this adventure!  Any amount you can donate will help, I promise!  Thank you for your consideration.
