My Bank of America Chicago Marathon Journey

For my first marathon journey I've decided to link arms with Northern Illinois Food Bank. My father in law spent a lot of time volunteering with his work team and bring Anthony along to show him the way. Their mission is to lead the Northern Illinois community in solving hunger by providing nutritious meals to those in need through innovative programs and partnerships.

 

The Food Bank has been responding to the increased need in our communities due to COVID-19. Since the beginning of the pandemic in March, the Food Bank has helped provide over 76 million meals to the community.

 

Please join me in making a difference in the lives of the thousands of people in Northern Illinois who are hungry. The funds I raise will stay right here, in our backyard, and will fill an empty plate of a hungry neighbor. 

 

Your Donation Makes an Impact:

  + Every $1 donated helps provide $8 worth of groceries for neighbors in need

  + 96% of the Food Bank's resources go to programs that feed neighbors in need

  + The Food Bank serves 13 counties in Northern Illinois, providing the equivalent of nearly 220,000 meals each day
