Thank you for taking the time to support me and Northern Illinois Food Bank in our fight against hunger! I'm starting my second year working at Northern Illinois Food Bank and I cannot be more proud of the work we have accomplished. My role in food sourcing has connected me with so many special people who help our mission every single day. I am running the Chicago Marathon to provide $14,000 worth of groceries in support of our mission and for my own personal goal of completing this 26.2 miles, something I never thought I could accomplish. I humbly ask for your help in meeting and exceeding our fundraising goals! I am incredibly grateful for your support and excited to keep you updated on my journey throughout the year and my run to the finish line.

We at Northern Illinois Food Bank believe that everyone should have access to nutritious food. Nearly 1 in 7 individuals in Northern Illinois is food insecure. That's why for my 2021 marathon journey I've decided to GO THE EXTRA MILE ;) with Northern Illinois Food Bank. Our mission is to lead the Northern Illinois community in solving hunger by providing nutritious meals to those in need through innovative programs and partnerships. I am so proud I get to do this everyday!

For every $1 donated, Northern Illinois Food Bank can help provide $8 worth of groceries.
