Noah Ellington Memorial Scholarship
The Noah Ellington Memorial Scholarship was established to honor the life and memory of Noah Ellington, a graduate of Riverview High School and a longtime member of the Tampa Bay hockey community.
From his years growing up in youth hockey through high school, Noah formed friendships and connections that extended far beyond the rink. His teammates, coaches, friends and family knew him not simply as a hockey player, but as someone whose life left a lasting impact on the people around him.
Following Noah's passing, the hockey community came together at AdventHealth Center Ice for an Honor Skate in his memory. Former teammates, coaches, friends and members of the community returned to the rink to remember Noah and support his family. That gathering demonstrated just how many lives Noah had touched and inspired the creation of something that could carry his memory forward for years to come.
The Noah Ellington Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior from Hillsborough County public schools who demonstrates the qualities and values that Noah's family, friends and teammates want his name to continue to represent.
The goal is not simply to remember Noah, but to allow his story to help another young person take the next step in theirs.
In addition to contributions made directly to the scholarship, Noah's former teammates, coaches, friends and supporters will come together for the Noah Ellington Memorial Skate, an annual event celebrating Noah through the game and community that connected so many of us to him. Proceeds raised for the scholarship will help build a lasting fund capable of supporting Hillsborough County graduates for years to come.
Every contribution to the Noah Ellington Memorial Scholarship helps carry Noah's memory forward by creating an opportunity for another student.
Thank you for helping us remember Noah, support his legacy and make a difference in the life of a future High School graduate.
